Kevin Eckert-Smith

Kevin has been a self taught, professional photographer since 1986. He has photographed for stock and television in San Francisco and the Ventura area and currently has a portrait and design studio near the Ventura, California waterfront.

Kevin has always had a special connection to nature and outdoor photography, growing up in New Hampshire and the New England area. “I try to create a connection in my photos, between nature and observer, that might normally be overlooked. I try to show the connections in every part of nature, how it interacts, cycles of death and re birth, the beauty in the seemingly mundane and ordinary.”
